Chuck’s Auto Repair has been in business for 2 years since they obtained their Microloan from GROW in May 2012 after being denied by several banks and opened for business in July using the funds for start-up costs and working capital. They have been profitable each year since opening and now have plans to expand the business. Right now those plans involve expanding within the space they currently have but they are also considering purchasing a building. The only drawback is their current lease has 3 years left and they are in the process of determining if the pre-termination process. Either way they plan on using profits to continue growing their business. Since obtaining their Microloan from GROW they have also become bankable. The business recently opened a business line of credit with PNC to help with cash flow and miscellaneous short-term expenses. They have created 3 jobs since opening in 2012. (more…)
